Futurama.  Reincarnation. Last night was the Season 6 finale of Futurama.  The gimmick of this episode being that each eight minute segment was animated in a different style.  The first eight minutes followed a “Steamboat Willie” type of animation.  The middle segment was animated like an 80s arcade game.  And the final eight minutes were akin to Japanese fighting anime. There was a bit of Fry-Leela relationship stuff in the first story, but not nearly on the level of The Sting or The Devil’s Hands Are Idle Play Things. As always the jokes were very smart.  I wish I was more of a nerd so that I could fully appreciate the jokes but just knowing Lagrange got me through tonight’s episode. Again there have been much better episodes and seasons but I still like watching this show.

Again there have been much better episodes and seasons but I still like watching this show.
